We opened our doors on September 15, 2008 to a packed house. But a lot
of people ask why we decided to open Jackhammer when there were already
two bars in Huntington. It was an easy decision for us. We wanted to
provide a clean, safe, relaxed, social atmosphere which we felt was
missing from the GLBT community in and around Huntington. The
Jackhammer was opened to provide you with a place where anyone will
feel welcome. No matter what your background, age, sex, fetish, etc...
The Jackhammer welcomes everyone and wants you to feel comfortable
whether you're in leather, a suit and tie, jeans and a t-shirt, or you
like to wear a chicken suit.
